Autobiography

Kica Richardson, a native of Cleveland Ohio, who presently resides in Birmingham Alabama. A woman of God. A mother of three amazing young adults. Kica's faith in God, has sustained her through many years of struggles and adversity. Kica, knew in her heart that she was truly  an entrepreneur. Which led to her at the age of 29, baking cheesecakes that were sold in the grocery stores. At age 31, she published her own magazine, naming it "Young Black In America," also referred to as Y.B.I.A. At age 33, she and a friend started running a T-Shirt Business, called Alabama Customized T-Shirts, also known as A.C.T. A few years later Kica started working, for the Birmingham Board of Education, as a Substitute Teacher and Teacher's Assistant, for about 5 years. She then went back to school for her insurance license and became one of the top agents in the company, ranking at the top in the region, for a season. After about 3 years, of experiencing great success in the insurance industry, Kica began to encounter many more hardships, which eventually led to her discovering her purpose, as a Life Coach. Kica recognized that she was an overcomer and she refuse to lie down in defeat. Kica wanted to help others, who may have find themselves stuck in a rut, sort of speak. So, in 2018, she got her certificate as a Life Strategy Coach, and started her own coaching business, "A Fresh Anointing." She also started working towards her purpose, which is to serve the youth and help them navigate through life successfully. Her desire is to prepare them to be tomorrow's leaders. She recently started her own organization, called, "Life Strategist Coaching." Kica and her team of coaches, go into the schools and coach the students on life skills. Coaching is something she has been doing pretty much her whole life. Kica has been knocked down many times in life, but her refusal to give up, makes her get back up and go even harder towards her goals and purpose.

Willie McDaniel, Business Owner/Life Strategist/Coach


Autobiography

Willie McDaniel, born and raised in Birmingham Alabama, along with his 3 siblings, by a single mother. At an early age, Willie, understood that something was unique about him. He was a bit of a loner, who didn't quite fit in. He was competitive and athletic, which led to him playing sports. Sports helped him to break out of his shell, and helped with his confidence. After high school, he joined the Navy and used his G. I. Bill to pay for school. He attended Bessemer Tech, where he studied Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC. After the military, he worked different jobs, where he was promoted quickly into management. But, there was no secret, that he had an spirit to be an entrepreneur. After starting multiple small business and failing, in 2007, he started his own Home Repair Company, "Clean Slate LLC." What he thought was unique as a child, he found out actually was a gift. He could fix things!! He could actually fix anything! He also developed a desire to help other confused kids, discover their gifts. He coached over 20 different basketball teams, throughout the city. He also began going to different high schools and speaking to kids about starting businesses. And, having 7 kids of his own, definitely helped him to fulfill the desire, as well. He loves what he does, who he is and is always excited about tomorrow.

Autobiography

Camari Wright is a published fashion photographer, Forex trader, public speaker, Real Estate Investor, and mentor, based in Birmingham Alabama. His work has been showcased in multiple of print and digital publications, such as IPush Magazine, OWN TV, prior to his photography career, he studied at the University of Alabama, Birmingham campus, where his major was Nursing. He has mentored multiple people in finance, investing and life goals.

Brandon Small, Business Owner/Life Strategist/Coach


Autobiography

Brandon Small, resides in the beautiful city of Birmingham, located in the state of Alabama. Brandon, works in the Home Building Industry, although he didn't begin as a contractor. He started off as an apprentice to a contractor, working under licensed contractors. He also, worked 3 years in the industry as an office manager, prior to starting his own firm, alongside his brother Michael Atkins. His personable demeanor, establishes a confident professional relationship with clients, and a neighborly standard of communication. Brandon, has also served as a pillar in the community. Being asked to sit on the panel, for the, "Stop the Violence", movement. He has mentored youth at local churches. He has also been asked to share his insight on being a single parent, at a Single Parenthood event. Brandon, has provided mentoring to young men who were in need of guidance, on goal setting and dealing with day to day challenges. Brandon, is very involved in the community even helping to organize, "Back to School," rallies. Brandon, really enjoy bringing people together, for a good cause.
